PC-PBT +15GF Rosa3D – technical filament reinforced with glass fiber
PC-PBT +15GF is a high-strength technical filament from Rosa3D, designed to work in demanding conditions – both industrial and outdoor. It is a composite material that combines polycarbonate (PC) with polybutylene terephthalate (
PBT) and has been
enriched with 15% glass fibers (GF).
The effect? Filament with significantly greater stiffness, mechanical and temperature resistance, as well as excellent dimensional stability. Thanks to the properties of PBT, the material shows low moisture absorption, good abrasion resistance and high chemical resistance – especially to greases, oils, alcohols and fuels.
What distinguishes PC-PBT +15GF?
✅ 15% glass fiber – increases stiffness, limits deformation and improves dimensional stability
✅ Resistance to temperatures of 90-110°C – without losing mechanical properties
✅ Resistance to UV radiation and moisture – ideal for outdoor applications
✅ Dielectric properties – great electrical insulator, even with thin walls
✅ Low abrasion and high resistance to chemicals (e.g. with chlorine)
✅ Matte, slightly textured surface – hides print layers, looks professional
✅ Low shrinkage (approx. 1%) – easier to print than PC or PC/ABS
Where will it work best?
-Elements of machines and devices
-Electronics and technical equipment housings
-Details exposed to UV radiation, moisture and variable temperatures
-Parts for RC vehicles, drones, airsoft/paintball rifles
-Industrial and outdoor applications, also in negative temperatures temperatures
-Electrical device housings (due to dielectric properties)
Printing parameters:
-Nozzle: 250–280°C (recommended steel – abrasive material)
-Heating table: 90–110°C
-Closed chamber: required, temp. 50–80°C
-Airflow: 0–20%
-Drying: 6 h / 80°C
TO SUM UP
PC-PBT +15GF from Rosa3D is a filament for demanding users – those who expect the material to be reliable, stiff and resistant to external factors. Ideal for industrial, technical and outdoor applications. It combines premium design features and an easier printing process than pure PC.
