PC-PBT is a 3D filament that works great in demanding industrial and automotive projects.
Thanks to the combination of polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) and polycarbonate (PC), the material gains exceptional resistance to impact, UV radiation and high temperatures, making it ideal for applications in harsh conditions.
Compared to pure PC, PC-PBT offers better dimensional stability and less shrinkage, which makes the printing process easier.
The filament is easier to print than PC or PC-ABS, while at the same time provides higher mechanical strength than ABS or PET-G.
Its features, such as low shrinkage (up to 1%), great adhesion to the bed and no smell during printing, make it convenient to use and give excellent results.
Thanks to temperature resistance from 90 to 110°C and UV radiation, prints can be safely used outdoors.
Recommended print settings:
- Nozzle temperature: 240-260°C
- Bed temperature: 90-110°C
- Chamber temperature: 50-80°C
- Airflow: 0-20%
