PC Filament by ROSA3D is an industrial grade material designed for 3D printing of elements exposed to very high mechanical, impact and thermal loads. This is not ABS or ASA type material – PC is a completely different league. If you are looking for a material that will last longer and stronger – polycarbonate is the answer.
PC offers one of the highest temperature resistances among available FDM filaments (up to 110-120°C without deformation), while maintaining excellent stiffness, elasticity and resistance to cracks. This is a demanding material – a closed chamber and high extruder temperature are needed for printing – but the results are definitely worth the effort.
The most important features of PC ROSA3D:
-Extreme thermal and mechanical resistance – for industrial applications
-Very high impact strength – does not crack on impact and stress
-High stiffness and dimensional stability – no deformation even under the influence of temperature
-Resistant to chemicals, heat and pressure
-Possible mechanical processing (drilling, grinding, milling)
-For advanced FDM printers – requires a chamber and high-temperature hotend
