• Fun fact You can adjust the finish of your print using temperature and speed. Printing faster and at a lower temperature will give you a satin-like effect (similar to silk shine or even brushed steel). On the other hand, higher temperatures and slower outer wall printing create a stronger light reflection, resulting in greater shine that resembles polished metal.

REFILL:

This is a ReFill-type spool insert. To use it, you’ll need a reusable Masterspool. You can print one yourself (the STL file is available in the “DOWNLOAD” section) or purchase it from our store. Print efficiently and sustainably.

To achieve the highest level of shine, use profiles dedicated to PLA Silk, reduce the outer wall printing speed, or increase the temperature. PLA Silk requires a slightly higher temperature than standard PLA.
