ROSA3D TPU HardTech+ 83D Red is a specialized technical filament designed for prints exposed to demanding operating conditions. It combines high mechanical resistance with the properties of flexible materials. It is stiffer than standard TPU filaments while still maintaining very good layer adhesion. As a result, under heavy load, the part does not crack suddenly but undergoes controlled deformation.

WHY CHOOSE TPU HardTech+ 83D?

  • Greater impact resistance. The material performs well in parts that must withstand pressure, stress, and accidental impacts.
  • Abrasion resistance. A good choice for parts that operate in contact with other surfaces, such as pads, bumpers, covers, guides, spacers, and protective components.
  • Resistance to water, outdoor conditions, and microbes. The filament can be used in projects exposed to extreme conditions.
  • Greater stiffness than standard TPU. The 83D hardness provides a more technical and stable character to the print. It is a material for users who need the resistance of TPU but do not want a very soft or rubber-like result.
  • Good layer adhesion. Prints are more resistant to layer separation under load, which is especially important for functional parts.

APPLICATION:

TPU HardTech+ 83D is ideal for printing components for outdoor applications, covers, enclosures, and parts exposed to contact with microorganisms.

COMPATIBILITY:

  • Bambu Lab: use the Generic TPU profile.
  • Prusa: use the Generic FLEX profile.
  • Set the bed temperature to 70°C.
  • Print with an enclosed chamber.
  • We recommend drying the material before each print.
  • Avoid overheating the material, as this may lead to material degradation, bubble formation, or a foamed print structure.
