Snapmaker U1 is a fast 3D printer designed for convenient multicolour and multi-material printing.

Four independent print heads allow you to combine up to four colours or materials in a single project while reducing the amount of waste generated when switching between them.

The set includes 10 PLA filaments of 0.25 kg each, giving you a total of 2.5 kg of material to start printing.

WHY CHOOSE SNAPMAKER U1?

• Print in four colours and materials. The SnapSwap™ system uses four independent print heads, so each filament has its own nozzle. This makes it possible to create multicolour models, combine materials with different properties and use support materials that are easier to separate from the finished print.
• Less filament waste when changing colours. The printer automatically switches print heads, reducing the need for intensive nozzle purging and allowing more material to be used directly in the model.
• Fast project completion. The maximum print-head movement speed is 500 mm/s, while acceleration reaches 20,000 mm/s². The 270 × 270 × 270 mm build volume provides enough space for larger parts as well as batches of smaller models.
• Consistent colour alignment and detail. Automatic print-head offset calibration, bed levelling, vibration compensation and Pressure Advance calibration help maintain correct layer positioning and even extrusion, including during high-speed printing.

Snapmaker U1 is suitable for creating multicolour figurines, decorations, collectible models, architectural models, presentation models, functional prototypes and projects combining materials with different properties.

It can also be used to print models with a separate support material, gadgets, toys, educational aids and functional components.

With the optional Top Cover installed, the printer can also print with ABS, ASA, PA and PC. Carbon-fibre- or glass-fibre-reinforced materials require suitable print heads with hardened steel nozzles.

The Top Cover and print heads designed for abrasive materials are not included in the set.

SOFTWARE AND REMOTE OPERATION:

Snapmaker U1 works with Snapmaker Orca and OrcaSlicer. Projects can be transferred via Wi-Fi or USB storage.

The built-in 2 MP camera allows you to monitor the printer and record time-lapse videos. Operation is made easier by a 3.5-inch colour touchscreen and the Snapmaker app available for Android and iOS devices.
