Snapmaker U1 is a fast 3D printer designed for convenient multi-colour and multi-material printing.

Four independent toolheads allow you to combine up to four colours or materials in a single project while reducing the amount of waste generated during material changes.

WHY CHOOSE SNAPMAKER U1?

• Optional compatibility with Tiger Tags. After installing modified firmware, Snapmaker U1 can automatically recognise spools equipped with Tiger Tags. You can perform the modification yourself or ask us to do it for you.
• Print in four colours and materials. The SnapSwap™ system uses four independent toolheads, so each filament has its own nozzle. This allows you to create multi-colour models, combine materials with different properties and use support materials that are easier to remove from the finished print.
• Less filament waste during colour changes. The printer automatically switches toolheads, reducing the need for intensive nozzle purging and allowing more material to be used directly in the model.
• Faster project completion. The maximum toolhead travel speed is 500 mm/s, with acceleration of up to 20,000 mm/s². The 270 × 270 × 270 mm build volume provides enough space for larger individual parts as well as batches of smaller models.
• Consistent colour alignment and detail. Automatic toolhead offset calibration, bed levelling, vibration compensation and Pressure Advance calibration help maintain correct layer positioning and consistent extrusion, even during high-speed printing.

APPLICATIONS:

Snapmaker U1 is well suited for creating multi-colour figurines, decorations, collectable models, architectural mock-ups, presentation models, functional prototypes and projects combining materials with different properties.

It can also be used for models printed with a separate support material, as well as gadgets, toys, educational aids and functional parts.

It is a practical choice for creators who want to move from a digital design to an impressive multi-colour print without manually dividing the model into separately printed parts.

With the optional Top Cover installed, the printer can also process ABS, ASA, PA and PC. Carbon-fibre- or glass-fibre-reinforced materials additionally require suitable toolheads fitted with hardened steel nozzles.

The Top Cover and toolheads designed for abrasive materials are not included.

SOFTWARE AND REMOTE OPERATION:

Snapmaker U1 works with Snapmaker Orca and OrcaSlicer. Projects can be transferred via Wi-Fi or USB storage.

The built-in 2 MP camera enables remote print monitoring and time-lapse recording. Operation is made easier by a 3.5-inch colour touchscreen and the Snapmaker app available for Android and iOS devices.
