Christmas is just around the corner, so we asked SliQ, a creator of 3D models on MakerWorld, to put together some festive inspiration and tips especially for you. Be sure to check them out!
I’d like to share a few of my projects that I’ve created with the Christmas season in mind. Recently, I’ve designed quite a variety of decorations – from simple Christmas tree ornaments to figurines and complete festive decoration sets.
When creating Christmas decorations, it’s worth experimenting with colors and special effects. Here are a few options that work particularly well for festive projects:
Below are a few projects I’d like to share with you.

Models: Christmas Tree Decoration Set and Spiral Christmas Tree with Star
Let’s start with Christmas trees. I’ve created several completely different versions – from simple, minimalist designs and geometric shapes to spiral models. Each one has its own unique look and can be adapted to your personal idea of Christmas decorations.

Model: Set of 4 Spiral Christmas Ornaments
Here, the filament takes center stage. Spiral shapes combined with Galaxy and Magic colors create a truly interesting effect. The ornaments beautifully reflect light, shimmer, and change colors depending on how the light falls on them.

Models: Cute Character Christmas Baubles and Christmas Bauble Decorations
This time, something a little more colorful, especially for the youngest Christmas enthusiasts. Round baubles with different ears and accessories inspired by popular characters. Add pastel colors, and they take on a charming, fairy-tale appearance.

Model: Personalized Christmas Ornament – Editable Text
Simple, flat ornaments that can be customized with your own text. They’re perfect for hanging on the Christmas tree or using as personalized gift tags. You can create something special for the whole family by adding names or short Christmas wishes.

Models: Minimalist Nativity Scene – 5-Piece Christmas Set and Minimalist Nativity Scene
Of course, my collection wouldn’t be complete without Christmas figurines. Among them are elements of nativity scenes. For projects like these, I particularly enjoy using marble filaments. I really like the effect they create on finished prints.

I also enjoy creating complete decorative arrangements where several elements come together to form one composition. Christmas trees, reindeer, gnomes, or festive lettering arranged on a shared tray. You can place such a set on a table, dresser, or shelf without having to think about how to combine individual decorations.

Model: Christmas Angel Ornament Set
Finally, I’d like to show you the Christmas angels I’ve designed in several different versions. Each has a slightly different hairstyle and appearance, but they all share one purpose – decorating the Christmas tree. This is one of those projects that also looks beautiful in classic white.
These are just some of the Christmas projects I’ve created. I’m constantly coming up with new ideas, and I’m sure I’ll have more to share with you in the future.
You’ll find photos and links to the individual models in each category. If any of these projects catch your eye, you can easily find them on my MakerWorld profile.
